    Due to a shortage of bicycles, the Tokyo area had reduced its shared bicycle service, but we are now working on resuming service and installing new bicycles. During the Golden Week period, the following four ports will be available: Daikanyama T-SITE, Tomigaya Springs, Jiyugaoka Station North Exit, and Ryogoku River Center.   • Subscription (monthly flat-rate) rental plan launched
    Amidst the stay-at-home orders due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have prepared three subscription (monthly flat-rate) rental plans that allow you to easily rent a vehicle starting from approximately 140 yen per day, for those who wish to avoid the "three Cs" (crowded spaces, enclosed spaces, and close contact) while traveling or commuting. These plans are also recommended for businesses such as restaurants and beauty salons that offer home visits or delivery services. We offer three plans with different vehicle types and battery capacities: 4,400 yen per month, 6,600 yen per month, and 9,350 yen per month. For

  • Uber Eats delivery driver-only bicycle rental plan resumed
    We have reopened applications for our electric-assist bicycle rental plan exclusively for Uber Eats delivery drivers. This plan is not a shared bicycle service, but a long-term bicycle rental service. During the rental period, there is no need to return the bicycle to a port; you can park it at your home. Home delivery is also available.

Regarding rental bicycle fees

  • Choose from three plans: 12 hours for ¥2,310, 24 hours for ¥2,640, or 48 hours for ¥3,960

    We offer a 12-hour plan for day trips, a 24-hour plan for overnight stays, and a 48-hour plan for multi-night stays. As long as the ticket is valid, you can use it in other areas as well, so you could use the 48-hour plan to visit Tokyo on the first day and Kamakura on the second day

Rental bicycle usage hours and business hours

  • COGICOGI allows you to borrow and return items at any time, 24 hours a day

    This is ideal for those who want to use the service from early morning, late at night, or without worrying about store closing times. There are no extra charges for early morning use. Furthermore, you can freely switch bicycles within the ticket's validity period

About bicycles available for rent in Tokyo

  • Electric-assist bicycles available for rent

    All bicycles available for rent at COGICOGI in Tokyo are electric-assist bicycles

    Tokyo, especially around Shibuya Station, is a hilly city. If you plan to spend more than half a day cycling, an electric-assist bicycle is recommended. COGICOGI offers stylish, city-type electric-assist bicycles. Please note that we do not have bicycles equipped with child seats

What is a rental bicycle drop-off service (or a shared bicycle service)?

  • COGICOGI allows you to return items to a different location than where you borrowed them

    COGICOGI is a shared bicycle service, meaning you can rent and return a bike at any COGICOGI port (rental/return location). For example, you could rent a bike at a port near Shibuya Station in the morning and return it at a port near Jiyugaoka Station. It will take longer, but you could even rent a bike in Tokyo and return it in Kamakura
